Andy and I converted an old barn built in 1875 into our beautiful family home in 2001, where we now live with our two young children, Grace and Tom, our border terrier Sparky and our two chickens, Molly and Nelly.

We really enjoy meeting the wide range of people visiting our home.
When I have some spare time I like to tend to my garden and vegetable patch. I am also an enthusiastic runner and I am currently learning to play the guitar (bought from a previous guest!) Katie Melhua and Paula Radcliffe don’t need to worry just yet! Prior to running the Bed and Breakfast full-time, I taught animal care and management at Myerscough College, Nr Garstang.

My husband, Andrew Talbot, is a professional artist and sells his work through Beckstones Art Gallery in Cumbria.
His work can be found in art collections both in this country and abroad and he has regular exhibitions.

We are both keen Christians and are involved in youth work at our Church in Preston. We also enjoy walking and mountain biking in the Trough of Bowland, when we get the chance!
